General Terms & Conditions (AGB)

1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed via the online shop at collectprayers.net, operated by Jonas Froeb (collectprayers), Koppoldstr. 1, 86551 Aichach, Germany (E-Mail: [email protected]).

2. Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to order (invitatio ad offerendum). By clicking the order confirmation button (e.g. "Buy now" via Snipcart), you place a binding order for the items in your shopping cart. The purchase contract is concluded upon our explicit order confirmation sent to your e-mail address, or upon dispatch of the goods, whichever occurs first.

3. Prices and Shipping Costs
All prices are final prices. As a small business per § 19 UStG, no VAT is charged. Shipping costs depend on the destination and are calculated and displayed during the checkout process before the order is placed.

5. Payment
Payment can be made via credit card, PayPal, or other methods provided at checkout (processed via Snipcart/Stripe).

6. Retention of Title
Goods remain our property until full payment has been received.

7. Statutory Warranty (Mängelhaftung)
The statutory warranty rights under German law apply. This means you have a right to remediation, replacement delivery, reduction of the purchase price, or withdrawal from the contract in the event of defects. The statutory warranty period is two (2) years from delivery of the goods. Please contact us at [email protected] for any warranty claims.

8. Limitation of Liability
We are fully liable for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health, and for damages caused by intent or gross negligence. For slight negligence, we are only liable in the event of a breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation), and liability is limited to the foreseeable, contract-typical damage. Any further liability is excluded.

9. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsbelehrung)

Right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

Privacy Policy

1. General Information
This website is designed with a "Privacy First" approach. We do not use advertising trackers, Google Analytics, or Google Tag Manager. We use privacy-conscious, self-hosted, cookie-free Umami Analytics for statistical measurement of website use, as described below. No analytics cookies are set.

2. External Media (YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, etc.)
To protect your privacy, this website uses a "Two-Click" consent system for all external media players. No data is sent to third-party providers (like Google, Spotify, or SoundCloud) when you first load a page. Instead, you see a placeholder. Only when you explicitly click to "Connect" or "Play" an item do you consent to the data processing terms of that specific provider, at which point the real player is loaded. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage so you don't have to consent again during the same session.

3. Local Storage
We use your browser's localStorage to store strictly functional settings:

• rp_ambient_v2: Remembers your preference for the ambient soundscape (on/off).
• rp_privacy_consent: Remembers your consent for external media so you don't have to click twice for every item.

4. Online Shop (Snipcart)
The shop and checkout process are powered by external partners:

6. Infrastructure & Security (Cloudflare & Bunny.net)
To ensure the security, stability, and speed of this website, we use the following third-party services:

• Cloudflare: We use Cloudflare as a security and performance proxy (Web Application Firewall, CDN). Cloudflare processes the IP addresses of visitors to detect and block malicious traffic and to optimize page load times. This is based on our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR). See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Bunny.net: We use Bunny.net as a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to deliver high-quality images and videos efficiently. Bunny.net processes visitor IP addresses to route requests to the nearest available server. This is based on our legitimate interest in providing a high-performance user experience (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR). See Bunny.net's Privacy Policy.

7. Website Analytics (Umami Analytics)
We use Umami Analytics, an open-source, privacy-focused web analytics platform, to measure website traffic, understand how our content is accessed, and document the long-term development of collectprayers.net.

Hosting and Data Processing
Our Umami Analytics instance is operated through PikaPods, a hosting service provided by Peakford Ltd.
Our analytics application and database are hosted in the European Union. According to PikaPods, the infrastructure for EU-hosted applications is provided by Hetzner Online GmbH.

Information Collected
Umami processes technical and statistical information about website visits. Depending on the functionality used, this may include:

• Pageviews and visited page paths
• Approximate geographic location
• Referring websites
• Browser type and operating system
• Device type and screen resolution
• Browser language
• Visit timestamps and pseudonymous session identifiers

Umami derives session identifiers from technical connection information, including IP addresses and browser characteristics, using a rotating salt.
According to the Umami documentation, IP addresses are processed for these purposes but are not stored as separate fields in standard analytics records.
Although the resulting identifiers do not directly reveal visitors' names, the processing may involve personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Privacy and Cookies
Our Umami integration is configured without analytics cookies or additional persistent identifiers in localStorage or sessionStorage.
We respect supported Do Not Track settings.
Our integration excludes URL query strings and fragments from ordinary pageview tracking. We do not intentionally transmit guestbook entries, form contents, usernames, email addresses or other submitted personal information as analytics events.
Analytics data is not used for advertising profiles or cross-website tracking.

Data Storage and Retention
Analytics data is stored in the database of our self-hosted Umami installation within the European Union.
The self-hosted version of Umami does not impose an automatic expiration period on collected analytics records. Unless separately deleted, these records remain stored in the database.
Our purpose is to measure website performance, analyse traffic trends and document the historical development of this independent art project.
We aim to preserve long-term historical statistics, including aggregated monthly and annual visitor counts, pageviews and geographic trends.
Where historical statistics have been effectively anonymised so that individual visitors can no longer be identified, we intend to preserve them as a long-term statistical archive.
Visit-level and session-level data that may constitute personal data must remain subject to applicable data protection requirements, including data minimisation and storage limitation.
The necessity of retaining detailed records must be reviewed, and records that are no longer necessary for the relevant purposes must be deleted or effectively anonymised.

Data Protection Rights
Where personal data is processed, visitors have the rights provided by the GDPR, including applicable rights of access, erasure, restriction of processing and objection.

8. Newsletter (Signal)
If you join our "Signal" updates, we collect and store your email address in our internal database. This data is used solely to send you celestial updates regarding this project. We do not use third-party email marketing platforms to store your email. You can request the deletion of your address from our registry at any time via the contact e-mail above.

9. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data, as well as the right to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For private-sector data controllers based in Bavaria, the competent supervisory authority is generally the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).
